Oturumun giriş kısmında Mulla Hadi Sabzevari’nin felsefi yaklaşımları üzerine yapılan değerlendirmelerin ardından, Lamii Çelebi’nin tercüme/adaptasyonu olan Səvaqibü’l-Menâkıb (Mənaqibi Səvaqib) ile Risâle-i Silâhşûrân (Kitâb-ı Silâhşûrân) tahlil edilmiştir.

Oturumda ayrıca, Risâle-i Silâhşûrân’dan okunan metinlerde okçuluk sahalarının ölçümleri (meydan başı, yay uzunu, qom mesafeleri), atış teknikleri ve metnin başında yer alan "Düşmənlik yoxdur illa zalimlərə" (Düşmanlık ancak zalimlerinedir) prensibiyle ifade edilen Osmanlı askerî ahlâkı incelenmiştir.

Bu yönüyle oturum, hem Osmanlı okçuluk ve silahşûrluk literatürü hem de kompozit yazma eserler açısından mühim bir çalışma olmuştur.
