RESEARCH LEADS
Layer 3 Inference: The session opens with a retrospective on the previous episode's groundbreaking three-way collation of Dede Korkut manuscripts, emphasizing how dialectal variations across Dresden, Vatican, and Gonbad witnesses illuminate regional Oghuz linguistic geography before transitioning to a detailed paleographic study of a late 16th-century Ottoman miscellany.
SCIENTIFIC SUMMARY
Episode 393 examines a late 16th-century Ottoman manuscript codex: a religious and mystical miscellany completed precisely in 1000 AH (1591–1592 CE) during the reign of Sultan Murad III ibn Selim Khan.
The speaker opens with reflections on eye strain and health challenges, followed by a review of the previous session's multi-witness collation of Kitâb-ı Dede Korkut (Dresden, Vatican, and Gonbad witnesses).
Object A undergoes detailed codicological inspection: ~99 folios, 15 lines per page, featuring moisture damage, binding edge wear, and institutional accession stamps (National Library / Majlis collection, Tehran).
A distinctive feature noted on PDF page 9 is an abjad/numerical square grid table associating months and values.
The text transitions between religious prose and mystical-didactic verse (ilahiler / şiirler), reflecting standard Sufi pedagogical themes.
Colophon analysis reveals a completion date in the year 1000 AH (approximately 447 years of antiquity relative to the present epoch) under Sultan Murad III.
Methodological rigor is maintained by separating observable codicological and paleographic details from speaker commentary.
The session contributes to the master corpus by documenting dated late 16th-century religious and esoteric miscellanies.
The episode concludes with expressions of gratitude and regular closing blessings.

Oturumun giriş kısmında konuşmacının üç ana Dede Korkut nüshasının coğrafi varyantları ve lehçe özellikleri üzerine yaptığı tahliller, Türk philologyası adına kıymetli birer metodolojik not oluşturmuştur.
İncelemeye alınan 1000 tarihli nüshanın kodikolojik özellikleri incelendiğinde; neme maruz kalmış çürümüş mukavva cildi, Milli Kütüphane / Meclis koleksiyonu mühürleri ve her sayfada yer alan 15 satırlık düzeni dikkat çekmektedir. Nüshanın özellikle 9. sayfasında yer alan ebced ve sayısal değerleri ihtiva eden kare formundaki tablolar, eserin esoterik boyutunu gözler önüne sermiştir. Eserin sonunda yer alan kolofon kaydında, eserin III. Murad b.
